Welcome to the MOP mission in Monroe, North Carolina – our first international mission in the United States of America. |

This mission was established on the Feast of the Guardian Angels, October 2, 2008. Guardian Angels Monastery is located on a 2.5 acre property in Monroe, NC. | ||||||||||||||
|
Our mission, although with many challenges, is growing and is generously supported by local volunteers, friends, and lay associates. For more information, please use the links provided on the right. | ||||||||||||||

| Thank you and farewell to Bro. Rodel, MOP - for the last three (3) years he was the local Superior. | ||||||||||||||
| Last April 12th he returned to his native land, the Philippines where he will continue in his formation. He is studying and preparing to be ordained a priest. We are grateful to Bro.Rodel for all his service to the mission in Monroe North Carolina. Let us keep him in our prayers. | ||||||||||||||
| We welcome the new superior, Bro. Augusto Silot Jr., M.O.P. He was born and raised in the Philippines. | ||||||||||||||
| They opened a new MOP warehouse for food storage and collection of various other supplies needed for the families they minister in Monroe and for other mission overseas. It is located at 203 - B Lee St., Monroe, NC 28112. | ||||||||||||||
