Support Us

The Missionaries of the Poor take vows of poverty, chastity, obedience and free service to the poorest of the poor. We surrender all rights to our own material possessions, bodily desires, will and remuneration for services rendered to the poor. We have no private possessions, no bank accounts and live in community--sharing all things in common. Our material needs are supplied by the generosity of our supporters who share our faith, embrace our mission and offer their own resources to serve the poor with and through us. There are three basic ways you can help:

"He that hath two coats, let him give to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do in like manner."

1. Give Financially

You can join us in serving the poor by making a one-time donation, or by scheduling a recurring gift. All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted online. As you consider your gift, be encouraged with the words of Scripture (Ps. 41:1): "Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord delivers him in the day of trouble."

2. Send Supplies

3. Volunteer!

There are many ways you can participate in the ministry of the Missionaries of the Poor. Many men and women visit our missions and work alongside our Brothers in daily care for the poor.
