More Details

The Missionaries of the Poor invite high school upperclassmen and college students for a weekend youth retreat in the mountains of Kingston, Jamaica!   We want to bring Christ and His Kingdom and a life of deep prayer in action to our young people!  Invite your friends and experience the presence and love of God in your life.

Mt. Tabor Retreat Center

Mt. Tabor Monastery and Retreat center is owned by the Missionaries of the Poor and sits atop the mountains north of Kingston.  Here, we are surrounded by the beauty of the God's creation and supplied with the silence needed for prayer, meditation and study.  Join us for a wonderful weekend of teaching, prayer, meditation and music!
